INSURANCE OF MONEY

The Central Assurance Money Policy is extensive in cover at moderate Premium rates. It is designed losses of Money Whilst

  1. In Transit to the Bank or to the Office from the Bank or any place of work such as work sites etc.
  2. In the residence of the Insured or any partner, Director or employees of the insured, limited to N100
  3. Not contained in locked safe or strongroom in the Insured's Premises whilst such Premises is closed for business, limited to N100.

IN ADDITION cover for Loss of or damage to safe and strongroom resulting from the theft or any attempted theft of the Money.

EXTENSION
If desired the Policy could be extended to provide indemnity for DEATH, BODILY INJURY OR TEMPORARY DISABLEMENT as a result of ASSAULT following upon Holdup and /or Robbery

EXCLUSIONS
The Insurance excludes losses arising for War and Kindred risks, lack of Integrity or dishonesty of Insured's employees, loss of Money in the hands of collectors for more than 24 hours from the time of receipt.

For the Purposes of the proposed insurance "Money" means Current coin, Bank Notes, Cheques, Postal Orders, Money Orders, Postage and Revenue Stamps.
1. Please state the estimated annual amounts in transit under the following headings:
  • Cash, and Bank Notes drawn from the Bank
  • Cash, Bank Notes and Open Cheques paid into the Bank
  • Payments for the purchases of Postal Orders, Money Orders, Postage and Revenue stamps

  • Are the keys of the safe(s) removed from the premises when the premises are closed for business?
4. Have you ever sustained loss of money from the risks now to be covered, if so, give particulars

I/We declare that the above statements and particulars are true and I/We agree that, this proposal and Declaration shall be the basis of the Contract between me/us and the GUARDIAN TRUST COMPANY LTD. I/We agree to render at the end of each period of the insurance a statement in the form required by the Company of all Money carreid and Premium on any amount in excess of that estimated above.
